9 Hole Event

This event pits the men against the women for the ultimate in golf supremacy. All of the individual Net scores are counted to establish a team score which determines the Champions. The women use 100 percent handicap while the men use 70%.

Championship Day (Match Play Finals)

All flights will play their Championship matches on this day. Tee Times for the Men will begin at 8am. Net Flights will be 18 hole matches and the Gross Championship Flight will be a 36 hole match. The Women’s tee times will begin at approx 11am. All Women’s matches will be 18 hole matches. Following Play there will be an Awards Ceremony and a buffet for participants and guests. If you are not playing in the Finals we invite you to come out and support your fellow members. At times it can look like a tour event with people lining the fairways cheering on the competitors.

Estimated Prize Money based on 16 player and 8 player flights

16 players: 1st $250, 2nd $130, 3rd & 4th $50 each, 8 Players: 1st $145, 2nd $95

Ryder Cup / Solheim Cup (Men / Women) 2 Day Event

Ryder Cup: This is a Team event for Men. Each team is made up of 6 to 8 members which competes against the other teams in Match Play matches of different formats. Sign up as an individual and you will be selected to a team.

Solheim Cup: This is a new event for Women. Each team will be made up of 6 or more members depending on how many participants register. Sign up as an Individual and you will be selected to a team.

Both Events are 2 day events. Shotgun start for all competitors at 8am

Memorial Cup (Men and Women)

Memorial Cup

This Event is the end of season Points Championship similar to the FedEx Cup Finals. Points will be kept for all events for both Men and Women beginning at the ABCD Opener and ending on Championship Day. You will earn points in every event you play in. The Top 30 Men and Top 8 women will qualify to play in this event. If someone who qualify’s is unable to participate the next person on the points list will be invited. The winners of the actual Tournament will earn Pro Shop Credit like any other event. The Overall Points Champions for Men and Women will receive a Championship Award and Pro Shop Credit.

Format: 18 Holes of Individual Stroke Play.

Points for Tournaments will be issued as follows 1st – 15, 2nd – 10, 3rd – 7, 4th – 4, 5th & below  – 2 (All Majors will be Doubled)

The Memorial Cup Championship event will be played as a Gross and Net Tournament. All players will be issued a score in relation to par to start the day based on their finish in the standings. The Overall Gross and Net Champions will be determined by their daily score added to the scored they started with. Daily winners will be determined by daily score only.

Format: This event is normally 1 Gross, 1 Net of the 4 person team. The format could change depending on what format the Pro would like to use. Each team will have 3 members and 1 local PGA Professional. This is a great event and getting a chance to play 18 holes with a local PGA Pro is something you don’t get to do every day. There is an optional skins game for the Pro’s and any member who would like to take their chances. Your entry fee includes a lunch buffet following play.
